Lufthansa Baggage Rules

  • Economy Class passengers of Lufthansa are allowed to carry 1 piece of hand baggage up to 8kg. Business and First Class passengers are allowed to carry 2 pieces respectively, unless they travel to the United Kingdom where only one piece of hand baggage is allowed.
  • Lufthansa allows 20kg of free baggage for international flights in Economy Class, 30kg in Business Class and 40kg in First Class.
  • Free baggage up to 2 pieces of 23kg each are allowed to be taken with in transatalntic flights of Lufthansa for Economy Class passengers. Business and First Class passengers can carry 2 pieces of free baggage up to 32kg each.
